Dale Icons Galore

I went a bit crazy with the new icon maker I found online. :-)

The man is just all kinds of wonderful, eh?

Feel free to snag them. All I ask is that you credit ladygarnett if you use them on LJ, your blog, whatever.

I have no idea how to do what you and mary are doing. But I sure do like yours. I am just not as good on the computer as you two are. I do plan to read your post about the general.

Actually, I am just learning how to make icons. I usually snag those others have created. I have this huge collection. Course I just love collecting pictures of Dale (and my other faves).

I Googled "free online icon maker" and found this site: http://www.sherv.net/icon-maker/

It's ridiculously easy to use. Then, if I want to add text, I pull the icon into Picnik: www.picnik.com

I can't do anything fancy, but I'm learning. *go me* :-)

I LOVE them Kathy, So many favorite pictures of Dale, as they were loading, I kept saying Oh I LOVE that one, oh that one, that one. LOL
I'll have to bookmark that site.
Beccah made mine. She makes her with photoshop. She plans to attend college for Graphic Arts.
She's stay on the computer all the time if I'd allow it doing graphics. She plans to attend college for Graphic Arts.

Of course when I ask her to make me various things, I feel like I am put on a waiting list LOL Now with this link you posted I won't have to be THANKS Kathy and thanks for sharing your icons LOVE EM

Glad you Ladies liked my icons. They are the first ones I have done. Rather simplistic compared to others in my collection and those I have seen on LJ, where I hang out a lot, but given the fact that it is darn near impossible for Dale to look awful, I guess I can't go wrong.

Beccah is very talented and I am sure that she will ace her studies in Graphic Arts! I haven't wanted to spring for PhotoShop 'cause I am really just learning.

And my husband is always complaining about the amount of time I spend on the computer. *giggle*

What is LJ?

LJ is Live Journal: www.livejournal.com

It is rather like a blog. It was one of the earliest social network sites. Newer ones like MySpace and Facebook are more popular, I guess. There are also other journaling sites such as Insane Journal and JournalFen.

Live Journal has communities you can join, picture posting sites, and general discussion lists. You can also use your own LJ to post icons, photos, stories (if you are a writer), your thoughts about whatever you wish. You can also comment on other journals, just like you can with this blog.

Unlike this blog, however, which is either totally public or totally invitation only, your posts in LJ can be given diffent levels of access for each post - private, friends-only, or public.

LJ is just another venue to interact with people who share your interests, like the forum at dalemidkiff.com or Yahoo Groups.

I hang out mostly with Mag 7 fans, but I belong to other communities as well and have made a number of friends online - like you and Mary. :-)
